C Q Brown has been part of the US Army for 40 years.
Donald Trump suddenly removed the country’s biggest military officer on Friday night. According to the New York Times report, 6 officers of the Defense Department, including Charles C. Q. Brown Junior, Chairman of the Joint Chief of Staff of the Army, have been fired.
The Joint Chief of Staff Chairman is the most senior officer in the US. According to the law, it is the Chief Military Advisor of the President and the Minister of Defense. There is no trend to change the chairman after changing the government in America. He completes the tenure of four and works as a bridge between the two administration. But C Q was able to hold the post only 16 months.
C. Q. Qua publicly supported the Black Lives Matter movement that began after the assassination of George Floid in 2020. Then Trump was in the post of President. This movement is considered a major role behind Trump’s defeat in 2020 elections.
Apart from C. 5 more Pentagon officers have been dismissed. These include the first time a woman officer Admiral Lisa Frenchy, Air Force Deputy Chief James Slice, and 3 top lawyers of Army, Air Force and Navy. At present, their names have not been revealed.
Air Force Secretary Barbara Barrett administered the oath of office to General C. Q. Brown on 6 August 2023. He became the 22nd Chief of Staff of the Air Force.
Retired 3 star officer responsibility instead of 4 star officer
According to the BBC, there is no trend to change the Joint Chief of Staff after usually change the government in the US. This officer works as a bridge between the two administration.
C Qu was another black officer in American military history who reached the post. He is a 4 star fighter fighter. He has been given this responsibility to 3 star Air Force General Dan Kane in his place.
Trump and Dan Kane met in Iraq in 2018. Kane then said that he can also die for Trump. Trump was very happy with this. Trump later alleged that Biden did not promote Dan Kane because of him. He was capable of becoming 4 star officers.
Defense Minister had given a sign of removal US Defense Minister Pete Hegseth had indicated the removal of C Q Brown in November before assuming office. He had said that diversity and equality (DEI) in the US Army would have to be abolished and first the Joint Chief Staff Chairman would have to be dismissed. Now after the dismissal of C Q, it is being linked to that statement.
