Indian Foreign Minister S Jaishankar attended the Security Conference held in Munich, Germany on Friday. During this, he questioned the double standard of Western countries on democracy. Jaishankar said that the western countries consider democracy to be their own system and promote non-Loktantic forces in Global South countries.
Jaishankar was asked whether democracy is in danger worldwide. In response, he showed the ink on the finger and said that democracy is not just a theory, but a delivered promise. We optimistic about our democracy.

Jaishankar said- 70 crore people voted last year
The Indian Foreign Minister said that “You are watching ink on my nail, because elections have just been held in our state Delhi.” Last year we had general elections. About 66% of the people vote in the Indian election.
Last year, 70 crore out of 90 crore voters voted during the national election. We count these votes in one day, and there is no dispute on the results.
He said that in the last few decades, the voting percentage has increased by 20%. This proves that democracy has strengthened here. We are optimistic about our democracy.

S Jaishankar said that I do not agree to say that democracy is in danger around the world. It is doing well here. We are optimistic about our democracy.
We are giving food to 80 million people
American senator Slotin said during the meeting that democracy does not arrange for people’s food. In response, he said that we are a democratic society and we also give food to 80 crore people. It matters to people how healthy they are and how full their stomach is.

Leaders from all over the world have reached Germany to attend the Munich Security Conference. US Vice President JD Vance met Ukrainian President Volodimir Jailonsci in Germany on Friday. During this, Vance said that the US wants sustainable and permanent peace in Ukraine. We do not want peace that starts struggle in Eastern Europe in the coming years.
JD Vance asked Europe to take steps to strengthen its defense, so that the US could focus on the dangers in other places in the world.
