Rachin Ravindra Century Champions Trophy Debut: The Champions Trophy 2025 New Zealand batsman Rachin Ravindra has created history. He has become the first player in the world to score a century in his World Cup and Champions Trophy debut match. Ravindra has scored 112 runs in the match against Bangladesh in the Champions Trophy, which is his total sixth century in international cricket. Earlier, he made his ODI World Cup debut in 2023 and scored a century in the first match.
Talking about the Champions Trophy match, Bangladesh had set a target of 237 runs in front of New Zealand. In response, New Zealand lost the wickets of Will Young and Kane Villamson quickly. At the same time, Devon Conway was also dismissed for 30 runs. From here, Rachin Ravindra took the command and hit 12 fours and a six in an innings of 112 runs in 105 balls. Ravindra also partnered 129 runs with Tom Latham.
