According to the report of ‘Hindustan Times’, Stark said that he was out of the tournament due to some personal reasons and ankle problems.

Stark said that before the Champions Trophy, there was a pain in his ankle in the entire Test series against Sri Lanka. Because of which he took this decision.

Along with this, he told that in the coming time, the World Test Championships are also the final, West Indies Tour and IPL cricket.

But his main focus is WTC final, before he wants to be ready for the Test final by playing a little cricket.

Apart from Mitchell Starc, Australia captain Pat Cummins, fast bowlers Josh Hazlewood and Mitchell Marsh were also ruled out of the Champions Trophy.
