Chasing 204 runs, Mumbai Indians did not start well, the team lost 2 wickets for 17 runs. Naman Dheer (46) and Suryakumar Yadav (67) played a good innings and made the match but became a major reason for a slow batting defeat in the final over. Tilak Verma played 23 balls to score 25 runs, after which the captain retired him out. Pandya scored 28 runs in 16 balls, but he could not win the team.
