Varun Jain, lawyer of Land for Job Case, said- ‘Bail has been granted on 1 security and 50 thousand bonds. Do not temperature with witnesses. The court has to be told before leaving the country. This condition has been given a bail.

‘Tejashwi and Lalu Yadav had already got a bail. Today a total of 70 accused were under summons. In which 3-4 did not get summons. Around 50 accused appeared in court today. Those who had filed a bail petition today have got bail.

After getting bail to Tej Pratap and Hema Yadav, his mother and former Bihar CM Rabri Devi said that

On 25 February, the court sent summons to the accused

Earlier, the hearing was held on 25 February. The court had sent summons to all the accused, taking cognizance of the final charge sheet filed by the CBI.

The three people were ordered to appear on 11 March. In this case, the CBI has filed a charge sheet against 78 others including Lalu Yadav.

There are 30 public servants accused in the charge sheet. CBI had said, ‘We have taken permission from the court against Railway Board official RK Mahajan. A list of witnesses is also ready against them. The court will further decide in this case.

Earlier on January 16, the court had said, “If there is no approval against Mahajan till January 30, the competent officer will have to clarify this.”

Lalu-Tejasvi was questioned in January 2024

In the Land for Jobs case, on 20 January 2024, the ED was questioned by the Delhi and Patna team officials for more than 10 hours by the officials of the Delhi team for more than 10 hours.

According to ED sources, Lalu Prasad had asked more than 50 questions. He gave most of the answers in yes or no. During interrogation, Lalu Jhalla was also visited several times.

At the same time, Tejashwi was questioned for about 10-11 hours on 30 January.

Deal 1: In the initial investigation, the CBI found that on 6 February 2008, Kishun Dev Rai of Patna sold his 3,375 sq ft land to Rabri Devi for just Rs 3.75 lakh. Also this year, 3 members of the family Raj Kumar Singh, Mithilesh Kumar and Ajay Kumar got a job in Group D in Central Railway Mumbai.

Deal 2: In February 2008, Sanjay Rai of Mahua Bagh in Patna also sold 3,375 sq ft land to Rabri Devi for just Rs 3.75 lakh. The CBI in its investigation found that apart from Sanjay Rai, 2 other members of the family got a job in the railway.

Deal 3: Kiran Devi, who hails from Patna, sold her 80,905 sq ft land to Lalu Yadav’s daughter Misa Bharti in November 2007 for just Rs 3.70 lakh. After this, in 2008, Kiran Devi’s son Abhishek Kumar got a job in Central Railway Mumbai.

Deal 4: In February 2007, Hazari Rai, a resident of Patna, sold 9,527 square feet of land to Delhi’s company AK Info System Private Limited for Rs 10.83 lakh. Later, Hazari Rai’s 2 nephews, Dilchand Kumar and Prem Chand Kumar got jobs in West-Sentral Railway Jabalpur and South-Eastern Railway Kolkata.

The CBI found that all the rights and assets of AK Infosystems were given to Lalu Prasad Yadav’s daughter and wife in the year 2014. Rabri Devi bought most of the shares of the company in 2014 and later became the company’s director.

Deal 5: Lal Babu Rai of Patna gave his 1,360 sq ft land to Rabri Devi for just Rs 13 lakh in May 2015. When the CBI investigated, it was found that Lal Chand Kumar, son of Lal Babu Rai, got a job in North-Western Railway Jaipur in 2006.

Deal 6: In March 2008, Brij Nandan Rai sold his 3,375 sq ft land to Hridayanand Chaudhary, a resident of Gopalganj for Rs 4.21 lakh. Hridayanand Chaudhary got a job in the East-Central Railway Hajipur in 2005. In 2014, Hridayanand Chaudhary transferred this land to Lalu Prasad Yadav’s daughter Hema through a gift deed.

When the CBI investigated, he found that Hridayanand Chaudhary and Lalu Prasad Yadav are not distant relatives. Also, the land which was given as a gift, at that time its value was 62 lakh rupees according to the circle rate.

Deal 7: In March 2008, Vishun Dev Rai gave his 3,375 sq ft land to Lalan Chaudhary, a resident of Siwan. Lalan’s grandson Pintu Kumar got a job in Western Railway Mumbai in 2008. After this, Lalan Chaudhary gave this land to Hema Yadav in February 2014.
