While burning, he cursed that after today Holi will not be celebrated in this village. Whoever celebrates Holi will start to be untoward. On this information, the people of the village reached the spot and prayed to the monk for curse.
Also told the solution to get rid of curse Seeing the villagers pleading, the monk said that if a cow gives birth to a calf on the day of Holi in the village or a child is born in a house, then you will get freedom from this curse. It has been 300 years, but neither a calf was born on Holi nor a child. The people of this village still do not come out of the houses to celebrate the festival.

Dadri: Dhulendi is celebrated the next day for 167 years Holi festival is celebrated on the second day of Phag for 167 years in village Chandwas in Charkhi Dadri district. When the people playing Phag saw the flames, they reached there and tried to control the fire at their level, but the fire had spread and could not be controlled due to the storm. In this fire, household items, cows, goats and two to three small children were burnt with huts of 15 to 20 families living there. The villagers later changed the location of Holika Dahan. Since then, the villagers play Dhulendi on the second day.
