The process of registration of Cuet UG 2025 is going to start soon. Registration for Common University Entrance Test (CUET UG) 2025 will be started soon by the National Testing Agency (NTA), although NTA has not yet announced the date and time for the commencement of registration. As soon as the notification is released, the candidates will be able to get the necessary information related to the exam such as the date of the exam, date of registration, how to apply, the fee, and other important information.
In 2024 last year, the registration process for Cuet UG 2025 started from 27 February. Therefore, candidates may expect registration at the same time this year.
Many changes made in the examination process
Some significant changes have been made in this year’s Cuet UG. The University Grants Commission (UGC) has made several changes to the process of this examination more effective and standardization. Some of these major changes are:

Reduction in the number of subjects: Candidates can now choose only five subjects, whereas the first six subjects could be selected. This change is not a more flexible option for candidates, but has been taken to make it a step and accurate.

Computer-based test will be: From this year, this exam will be completely computer based, earlier some parts were paper-based, but now only computer based examinations will be.

Examination duration: Now the duration of Cuet UG exam will be 60 minutes, which used to vary between 45 and 60 minutes earlier. This change has been done to make the exam deadline equal and accurate.

Elimination of alternative questions: Earlier some questions were kept optional, but now all the questions will be mandatory, so that candidates will not get a chance to leave any questions in the examination.

End of hybrid model In the last few years there was a hybrid exam model, which had both online and offline options. From this year this hybrid model has been terminated, and the entire exam will be online (computer -based) only.
