Tanveer Sangha hails from Rahimpur, a small village in Nakodar in Jalandhar. The family was proud that their son is illuminating the family’s name on foreign soil.

Spin bowler Tanveer was born in 2001 in Sydney, Australia. He studied there. Tanveer’s family is from Rahimpur village in Jalandhar. Tanveer’s father had first gone abroad. After this, he got married there and Tanveer was born there.
According to the villagers, Tanveer used to come to his village many times in his childhood. Now that he has achieved such a big place, he is feeling very proud.

Sukhjit Singh, who lives in Tanveer’s village, said- I am feeling very proud to see Tanveer Singh Sangha’s performance in Australia. Tanveer has illuminated the name of Jalandhar district and Punjab along with the village. Because Tanveer is playing internationally.
He told that Tanveer used to come here in childhood. Even now whenever he gets time, he definitely comes to the village. As a child, he used to play cricket and volleyball with her. Tanveer is survived by her sister and parents, who all live abroad.

Joravar Singh, a resident of the village, said- Tanveer is the pride of our village, he has raised our name along with the village. Tanveer’s father Joga Singh himself has been playing kabaddi in the first village, he has also worked hard to his children and extended further in his interest game. After which Tanveer’s father moved to Australia and used to run tax there.
