A case of rape and molestation of a British woman has come to light at a hotel in Mahipalpur, Delhi. Vasant Kunj police have arrested two accused in this case. The British High Commission has been informed about the incident.
The victim is from England. She came to visit Maharashtra and Goa a few days ago. The victim’s accused was friends with Kailash through Instagram. Both were in touch with each other on social media for about one and a half months.
The woman came from Goa to meet a young man from Delhi. Both stayed at a hotel, where the young man raped the woman. The woman somehow reached the hotel reception, but while she was trying to leave, another person molested her in the lift on the pretext of help.
According to the police, Kailash is a resident of East Delhi. He had difficulty in speaking English. He used a translation app to talk to the woman. On receiving information about the incident, Delhi Police immediately came into action.
