The Adani Group announced on Monday to donate Rs 2,000 crore to open at least 20 schools across the country. The announcement has been made as part of the charity of Rs 10,000 crore during the wedding of the younger son of Gautam Adani, the founder of the group.
The Adani Foundation, along with James Education, plans to establish temples of education across the country. The first Adani James School of Excellence will start in Lucknow in the academic year of 2025-26.

New Delhi railway station stampede- Petition in Supreme Court to prevent incidents; Demand to implement NDMA report
Two days after the stampede at New Delhi railway station, a petition was filed in the Supreme Court demanding action to prevent such incidents in future. In the PIL, the PIL has demanded the Center and others to implement the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) report on mob management. Along with this, there has also been a demand to take instructions to take steps for the safety of passengers on railway stations and platforms.
