Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is counted among the versatile actress of the industry. He has played many types of roles in his film career. An old interview of the actress is going viral on social media, in which she explains how she received legal notices for the kissing scene of Dhoom-2.
Hollywood movies rejected because of kissing scene
In an interview to the Daily Mail in 2012, Aishwarya says that she had rejected some scripts of Western cinema just because she was not comfortable about the intimate scene, especially kissing scene in them. He had never done this on screen before, so he did not like this idea at all.

She further says, ‘I thought if I have to go on that path, first I will do it in my industry. I did this in ‘Dhoom-2’ and it became a big issue.
You will be surprised but I received legal notices from some people of the country, in which you are iconic. You are an exam for our girls. You have lived your life in such a good way. They are not comfortable to do this on your screen, so why did you do this? ‘
Actor is not comfortable for kissing scenes in our films
Aishwarya was surprised to send the legal notice of fans and she said, ‘I thought, wow – I am just an artist who is doing her work. Here I am being asked to clarify for a few seconds in a two to three -hour film.
Many actors have done kissing scenes in films and are doing this continuously. However, it is not common in Indian culture to show affair in public. In our cinema, the actor also looks very comfortable while kissing on the screen. It does not look very natural in our story or songs.

The action-thriller Dhoom-2 was released in the year 2006. This film was a sequel to ‘Dhoom’. Aishwarya was seen opposite Hrithik Roshan in this film. Both shared the screen for the first time. Vijay Krishna Acharya wrote the dialogue in this film directed by Sanjay Garhvi. It also featured Abhishek Bachchan, Uday Chopra and Bipasha Basu in the lead roles.
Talking about the actress’ workfront, she was last seen in Mani Ratnam’s film ‘Ponyin Selvan’.
