ROCKINGHAM, N.C. — Connor Zilisch won the pole for Saturday afternoon’s North Carolina Education Lottery 250 at Rockingham Speedway.
Zilisch turned a lap of 22.63 seconds at 149.536 mph in his JR Motorsports Chevrolet. It was his third pole of the season and his fourth in only 14 NASCAR Xfinity Series races.
Parker Retzlaff qualified second, followed by Nick Sanchez, Kasey Kahne and Williams Sawalich as Chevrolets made up the front two rows of the field.
William Sawalich was the top qualifying Toyota racer in fifth, while Sam Mayer led the Ford teams, taking 11th position.
