US President Donald Trump stated that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky should never have started a war with Russia. Speaking alongside El Salvador’s President Nayib Bukele in the Oval Office, Trump criticized Zelensky’s recent proposal to fund $15 billion in Patriot air defence systems with European support. Trump remarked that Zelensky is “always looking to purchase missiles” and warned against initiating a conflict without the capability to win. He emphasized the risk of confronting a much stronger opponent while relying on international aid.
