Now the PCB support staff is ready to make changes. Wasim Akram, however, has said that if Pakistan Cricket Board wants, he can coach for the team even for free. But he also told why he is afraid to become a coach.
I will not tolerate the misconduct- Wasim Akram
The media report quoted Wasim Akram as saying, “If I needed and the PCB contacted me, I am ready to coach for free. If you want to set up the camp, I am ready for that too.” However, he also told that the head coach of the team is not respected, he has seen this himself.
He said, “Waqar Yunis was also the coach of the team, but the coach is misbehaved and I have seen it myself. The coach will be respected only then discipline will come in the team.”
Wasim Akram International Cricket Career
Wasim Akram, 58, played his last international match in 2003. In his career, he played 104 Tests and 356 ODIs. In this, he took 414 and 502 wickets respectively. In this sequence, he scored 2898 and 3717 runs.
