The Waqf Amendment Bill passed on Wednesday after a 12 -hour discussion in the Lok Sabha. 520 MPs participated in voting. 288 MPs in favor, 232 voted in opposition.
Minority Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju has named it expected (Unified Waqf Management Empowerment, Ephesions and Development). Now this bill will be introduced in Rajya Sabha.
During the discussion, AIMIM MP Asaduddin Owaisi tore the bill. He said- The purpose of this bill is to raise Muslims. I tear the Waqf Bill like Gandhi.
During the discussion on the bill, Home Minister Amit Shah said- Non-Islamic will not come in Waqf. There is also no such provision. Minorities are being intimidated for vote bank.
Rijiju said- If the bill was not introduced, then there could have been a claim on the Parliament House.
Union Minority Affairs Minister Rijiju said- If we had not introduced this amendment bill today, the building in which we are sitting could have been claimed to have Waqf property. If Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s government did not come to power, then many other properties would have become non-obliged.
The Waqf Act was formed for the first time in 1954 after independence. The State Waqf Board was also provided at that time. The Waqf Act was formed in 1995 after several amendments from that time. At that time no one said that it is non -constitutional. Today, when we are improving the same bill, you are saying that it is non -constitutional. You are tricking people except everything, which has nothing to do.
Kiren Rijiju said that there were only a few days left in the election in 2013. On 5 March 2014, 123 Prime Property was transferred to Delhi Waqf Board. There were few days left in the election, you would wait. You thought you would get votes, but you lost the election.
Shah said, not for theft, not for theft, for the poor
Union Home Minister Amit Shah said- ‘Waqf bill is not for theft but for the poor. A member saying that minorities are saying, will you be threatening brother. There is a law of Parliament, you have to accept.
He said- not a single Islamic will come in Waqf. There is also no such provision. Minorities are being intimidated for vote bank. Waqf is an Arabic word. Akhilesh said- Rijiju should tell how many villages China settled in his kingdom SP chief Akhilesh Yadav said that the ministers are saying that the land of defense and railway belongs to India. I also believe this. Are defense and railway lands not being sold. The issue is a bigger issue than the land of Waqf, on which China has settled its villages. No question should be questioned, so this bill is being brought. The state from which ministers come from at least tell how many villages China have settled.

Lalan Singh said- Bill is not anti-Muslim from anywhere
JDU MP and Panchayati Raj Minister Rajiv Ranjan Singh alias Lalan Singh in the Central Government said, ‘It is being tried to make this bill that this bill is anti -Muslim. This bill is not anti -Muslim from anywhere. Waqf is there a Muslim institution? Waqf is not a religious institution, a trust, which works for the welfare of Muslims. The trust should have the right to do justice to people of all classes which are not happening.

The Waqf Board is also religious. The MLA in the Devasthanam Board in Kerala can nominate someone, that MLA will be a Hindu. There will be no Muslim. No Muslim and Christian MLA has the right to choose a member of Devasthanam Board.
