1. INSV Tarini reached its last point Cape Town
The Indian Navy’s sailing vessel INSV Tarini has reached Cape Town in South Africa at the last stop of its water journey on 1 April.

2. PM Modi will attend the Bimstec summit tomorrow

PM Modi will meet Bangkok’s PM Teetongtarn Shinavatra and discuss bilateral relations.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be on a two -day visit to Thailand from Thursday 3 April for the sixth Bimstec summit. During this time, he will meet Bangkok PM Petongtarn Shinavatra and discuss bilateral relations.
The Ministry of External Affairs said last week that the theme of the summit is Bimstec rich, flexible and open ‘, it is expected to discuss various institutional and capacity building measures by leaders to increase cooperation within Bimstec structure.
Earlier, PM Modi visited Thailand in 2019. The previous Bimstec summit was organized by Colombo in the virtual format. Established in June 1997, BIMSTEC Regional Group includes five members from South Asia – Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Nepal and Sri Lanka – and two members from Southeast Asia including Myanmar and Thailand.

1. Offline admission begins today for KVS Class 2-12

The first final merit list will be announced on 17 April, in which admissions will be done from 18 to 21 April.
Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) has started offline admissions for all grades between Balwatika-2 from class 2 to 12 today from April 2. The process for offline registration and forming form will run from April 2 to 11.
Parents applying for admission of children in Kendriya Vidyalayas (KV) will have to submit the application form offline between 10 am and 4 pm.
The registration process for Balawatika-1 Balawatika-3 and Class 1 was completed in March. The lottery results for Class 1 were declared on March 27, while the merit list for Balwatika-1 and Balawatika-3 has already been made available on the official portal balvanika.kvs.gov.in.
CM Rise School will now be called Sandipani Vidyalaya
MP’s CM Dr. Mohan Yadav announced in the State Level School Chalen Hum Abhiyan at Naveen Higher Secondary School on 1 April that the CM Rise School of the state will now be Sandipani School.
Along with this, he said that these schools remind the British. Sandipani was the guru of Lord Krishna. He also said that Lord Krishna had earlier started the ‘School Chale Hum’ campaign. The CM Rise scheme was launched by former CM Shivraj Singh.
