Rubio made this statement during a conversation with reporters in the plane while going to Saudi.
US Secretary of State Marco Rubio has asked Ukraine to leave the land to resolve the war. Rubio said on Monday that Ukraine will have to give concession in the area of Ukraine which has been occupied by Russia since 2014.
He said-
I think both sides need to understand that this struggle has no military solution. Russia cannot capture the entire Ukraine and it will be extremely difficult for Ukraine to push Russia back before 2014.
Rubio asked Russia and Ukraine to be ready to take tough decisions. Rubio has arrived in Saudi Arabia. He will meet here with senior Ukraine officials.
Rubio arrived in Saudi’s capital Zeddah late on Monday night.
Jailonski also reached Saudi, will not attend the conversation
Ukraine President Volodimir Jailonsky also reached Saudi Arabia on Monday. However, Jailonsky will not attend the meeting with US Secretary of State Rubio. His team will be present in this meeting.
According to the New York Times, the aim of this meeting is to compensate for the heavily debate between Trump and Jailonski on 27 February. It will also discuss American military help and intelligence to Ukraine.
Jailonsky and Rubio will meet Saudi’s Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. However, there will be no meeting between the two.
Rubio and Jailonsky met at the White House on 27 February. Meanwhile, there was a debate between Trump and Jailonski.
America stopped military assistance of Rs 8.7 thousand crore to Ukraine
The US has banned military help to Ukraine. According to the New York Times, this can affect weapons and ammunition help of one billion dollars (8.7 thousand crore rupees). They were to be delivered to Ukraine soon.
Following Trump’s order, the help has also been stopped which Ukraine can only use to purchase new military hardware directly from American defense companies. There has been no response from President Jailonsci when US aid was stopped.
A White House official told CNN that it was clear that the decision was raised due to Jailonski’s bad behavior. He said that if Jailonski tries to negotiate to end the war, then perhaps this ban can be lifted.
The help was stopped after the debate between Trump and Jailonski on February 27 at the White House.
America will not share intelligence information with Ukraine
The US banned the secret information with Ukraine from 5 March. US National Security Advisor (NSA) Mike Waltz says we have taken a step back in the matter of sharing intelligence with Ukraine.
Talking to the media, he said that we are considering all aspects of the case and reviewing it. Waltz spoke to the NSA of Ukraine over the phone.
Ukraine will see the effect of stopping help in 2 to 4 months
Mark Cansion of the Center for Strategic and International Studies said that America’s decision to stop help is greatly affected by Ukraine. Trump’s decision has ‘crippled’ Ukraine in a way.
Cansion said that stopping American help means that Ukraine’s strength has now been halved. Its effect will start appearing in two to four months. At present, Ukraine will remain in fighting for some time with the help of European countries.
What will be affected by Ukraine’s decision to stop military help
America has been a prominent supporter of Ukraine. In the last 3 years, the US has given Ukraine weapons, ammunition and financial assistance in the struggle against Russia. According to reports, the closure of this help will affect Ukraine’s defense capacity. Ukraine may find difficulties in maintaining their territory.
Ukraine’s army has been very dependent on weapons, especially cannons, drones and missile systems from America. After its closure, Ukraine will be difficult to respond to Russian attacks. This can capture Russia, some other areas of Ukraine.
