The US Senate has approved the enrollment of Indian origin Kashyap Patel as director of the FBI (Federal Bureau of Investigation). According to C-Spain, Patel obtained approval by 51-47 votes. The approval was received despite the protests from the Democrats, who warned that Kashyap Patel, who is a strong Republican supporter, can use the FBI to target the President’s political opponents.
