Us Donald Trump Administration Cancelled Visa of 9 Mit Students and Made a Change in Federal Policy

Donald Trump’s Administration on MIT: The action of the administration of President Donald Trump on students regarding immigration and campus activism in the United States continues. The Trump administration has now taken action against the students of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). MIT said in a statement that 9 of its international students and the researchers’ visas have been canceled without any prior notice or cleaning.

Visa of 530 people canceled so far

According to a CBS report, the US Trump administration has so far canceled visas of about 530 students, teachers and researchers from 88 colleges and universities. Regarding this, the University President Sally Cornbll wrote a letter to MIT Community on Monday (April 14). In this letter, the cornbirth has expressed concern about the latest actions of the US government. He said, “These steps taken by the government are not only a threat to the operation of MIT, but it also creates a crisis for the capabilities of the country that attract global talent and maintain scientific leadership.”

The cornbtation wrote in its letter, “Visa of 9 members of our community has been canceled since April 4. This includes the recently graduate students and some postdotent students of the community.” He wrote that not getting any kind of official information from the Trump government regarding this action is even more worrying. Although a student suffering from the action of Trump administration has filed a case, in which the community was not directly involved, but still he said that he is concerned about the impact of this action.

Changes have been made in Federal Policy

Apart from action on international students, the Trump administration has also changed a Federal Policy of America. After changes in the policy, several other top universities including MIT, Princeton, Caltech and Illinois University have filed a case against the Boston Federal Court Department of Energy (DOE).

The court has challenged the decision of the administration in this case, in which research cost rimbersment has been limited to 15 percent. Due to this, many educational institutions engaged in research may have to suffer crores of dollars.
