Trump described ‘Gold Card’ as an option of EB-5 visa program and said that 1 million gold cards will be sold in future. The EB-5 visa program is currently the easiest way for US citizenship. For this, people have to pay $ 1 million (about 8.75 crore rupees).
Trump said that this visa card would open the way for US citizenship. People will come to America after buying it and will pay a lot of tax here. He claimed that this program would be very successful and this could be paid soon to the national loan.

Special rights like green card will also be available
On Tuesday, Trump signed the executive order associated with the visa program and said that gold visa card will give citizens a special right like green card. He said that the program is expected to start in 2 weeks. Trump also said that detailed information about the new scheme will come soon.
During this time, commercial secretary Horved Lutnik was also present with him. He said that the new visa program will increase investment in the country, along with the fraud related to the EB-5 and the bureaucracy will be curbed.
The US gives foreign citizens to live here permanently. After this, foreign nationals do not need to take visas. However, Green Card does not provide citizenship of America.

Green cards are required to live permanently in the US. For this, EB-1, EB-2, EB-3, EB-4 are visa programs but the EB-5 visa program is the best. This has been in force since 1990. In this, the person is not bound by any employment -giving judiciary and can work or study anywhere in America. It takes 4 to 6 months to achieve this.
The aim of the EB-4 visa program is to earn foreign investment. In this, people have to invest $ 1 million in a business that produces at least 10 jobs. This visa program gives investors, his spouse and American permanent citizenship to children under 21 years of age.
What will be the effect on Indian people? According to reports, the ‘Trump Visa Program’ could be quite expensive for the Indians who depended on the EB-5 program to take American citizenship. Abolishing the EB-5 program can also harm the skilled Indian professionals stuck in long green card backlogs.
Indian applicants have to wait for decades already under employment-based green card category. With the introduction of Gold Card, the immigration system can be even more challenging for those who cannot pay heavy prices.
