UPPSC PCS recruitment 2025 has been extended on the last date of application. Now candidates can apply online by visiting the official website uppsc.up.nic.in till 2 April. Earlier, the last date of application was fixed on 24 March 2025.

1. CBSE Curriculum will be taught from class 1 in Maharashtra

Maharashtra School Education Minister Dada Bhusus has announced that CBSE Curriculum will be implemented from class 1 to 12 by 2028.

While making a statement in both the houses of the state legislature, Bhusus said that the new Curriculum will be applicable from 2025 to class 1 and will cover all classes up to 12th in 2028.

Class 2, 3, 4 and 6 will be covered in 2026, while in 2027 Class 5th, 7th, 9th and 11th will be covered. The 8th, 10th and 12th will be included in 2028.

According to Bhusay, it will help in developing the soft skills of students and will help spread quality education.

2. Video of student running behind bus in Tamil Nadu viral

The video of a school student in Tamil Nadu is going viral on X. In this video, the student is seen running behind the bus of the State Transport Corporation (TNSTC) in the school uniform. This Chatra is a 12th class student and is seen running behind the bus to reach the exam center.

The incident took place on Tuesday, March 25 near Kothakottai in Tirupattur district. According to the report, the girl is a student of Nimambattu Government Higher Secondary School, who is also her exam center. The school is located about three kilometers from the Kothakottai bus stop.

In the video, the girl is waiting for the bus at the bus stop to reach the exam center. However, instead of stopping, the bus driver left him and went ahead. The child ran far behind the bus after which the bus stopped.

After the video went viral, the State Transport Corporation (TNSTC) has taken disciplinary action against a bus driver and conductor and both have been suspended.
