1. Digital library will be established at Gram Panchayat level in UP: On March 2, the Uttar Pradesh government announced the establishment of a digital library at the gram panchayat level.

The purpose of setting up a digital library is to provide modern education systems and resources to the children in the remote region.
- In the first phase, a digital library will be established in 22,700 gram panchayats.
- For this, the state government will spend an amount of Rs 4 lakh per library.
2. Forest Area will settle in Domari, Varanasi: On March 2, the Uttar Pradesh government has decided to settle a forest area in Domari, Varanasi.

This work will be completed through Varanasi Municipal Corporation.
- Under this, a forest area will be developed on 350 bighas of land of Domri village of Varanasi Municipal Corporation.
- Along with keeping the environment of Varanasi city safe from this forest area, biodiversity will be preserved.
3. Noida Film City Project Launch: The Noida Film City Project was launched on 2 March.

This film city is being produced by Bhutani Infra Company Limited.
- This entire film city is to be developed in the field of 230 acres.
- This film city will include all the facilities related to filmmaking with the Film University.

4. Jyotiraditya Scindia will join Mobile World Congress 2025: Union Communications Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia will represent India in the prestigious Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2025 to be held in Barcelona, Spain from 3 to 6 March 2025.

- Jyotiraditya Scindia will inaugurate the ‘Bharat Pavilion’ with the inauguration of India Mobile Congress 2025 at the Mobile World Congress (MDBC).

- Through this platform, leading telecom companies and innovators showcase their state -of -the -art progresses and permanent solutions.
- 38 Indian telecommunications equipment manufacturers will showcase both their state -of -the -art products, hardware and software at the India Pavilion.
5. Jan Aushadhi Week-2025 started from 1 March-2025: Underlining the increasing importance of Janmadhadhi across the country, Jan-Adhdhi Week is being organized from March 1 to 7, 2025.

Union Health and Family Welfare Minister JP Nadda flagged off the ‘Jan Aushadhi Rath’ on Saturday, March 1.
- It is being organized under the aegis of the Ministry of Health, Government of India and the Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers.
- Jan Aushadhi Day will be celebrated on 7 March in the sequel of this week.
- At present, more than 15,000 Jan Aushadhi Centers have been opened across the country.
- The Government of India has targeted to open 25,000 Jan Aushadhi Centers across the country by 31 March, 2027.
6. Repeating EPIC number does not mean duplicate or fake voter: On March 2, the Election Commission clarified that repeating the EPIC number does not mean duplicate or fake voter.

Whatever the EPIC number is, any voter can vote at the scheduled polling station of the respective constituency of his state, where his name is recorded in the voter list, not anywhere else.
- EPIC number of voters of different states may be one.
- The Election Commission has taken cognizance of some media reports, raising the issue of being the same EPIC number as voters of two different states.
