- From 25 to 27 March, all the districts of Uttar Pradesh are celebrating the completion of 8 years of the present government.

2. PSCF 2025 organized in Mumbai
- The Private Sector Kolaboration Forum 2025 is being held in Mumbai from 25 to 27 March.
- It is being hosted by Reserve Bank of India and Revenue Department, Ministry of Finance.
- PSCF is an annual program that provides a platform for dialogue between FATF (Financial Action Task Force) member countries, international organizations and private sector stakeholders.

The PSCF 2025 will continue in Mumbai till 27 March.
3. Ajay Seth became the new Finance Secretary of India
- On March 24, IAS Ajay Seth of Karnataka cadre, 1987 batch, became the new Finance Secretary of India.
- He will replace former Finance Secretary Tuhin Kant Pandey, who has recently been appointed Chairman of SEBI.
- Ajay Seth has been awarded the Prime Minister’s Administrative Excellence Award in 2013.

Ajay Seth is currently working as a secretary in the revenue department.
4. World TB Day 2025 Summit organized
- On March 24, World TB Day 2025 Summit was held in New Delhi.
- The theme of this year’s event is’ Yes! We can and TB: Committees, Invest, Deliver ‘.
- The conference was inaugurated by Union Health and Family Welfare Minister Jagat Prakash Nadda.

According to the Health Minister, TB treatment coverage in India has increased from 59% to 85%.
5. Start of drone-based cornea transfer
- On March 24, ICMR (Indian Council of Medical Research) started a drone-based cornea transfer.
- Under this, the tissues of the cornea from Dr. Shroff Charity Eye Hospital in Sonepat were successfully transported from the drone to the National Cancer Institute AIIMS Jhajjar and then AIIMS New Delhi.

The scheme started in collaboration with ICMR, AIIMS Jhajjar, AIIMS New Delhi and Ministry of Civil Aviation.
6. Singapore Maritime Week 2025 organized
- The ‘Singapore Maritime Week 2025’ will be held in Singapore from 24 to 28 March.
- India, Singapore, France, Netherlands, Norway and Portugal are attending the conference.
- India is being represented by the Union Port, and Waterways Minister Sarbananda Sonowal.

The purpose of the conference is to promote a flexible and better ecosystem among all participating countries.

- In 1975, the country’s first kite museum ‘Shankar Kendra’ was established in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.
