1. Start of Special Smart School for Divyang in Greater Noida: Since March 19, the Uttar Pradesh government is starting a special smart school of Divyang in Greater Noida.

Smart school was built in collaboration with Uttar Pradesh government and automobile company Honda (under corporate social responsibility).
- It is the first school in the state of special category, taking care of class rooms, digital boards, labs and other related educational needs of class 1 to 5.
2. Campaign to make 1,147 villages of Ayodhya ‘model village’: From March 17, 2025, a campaign to make 1147 villages of Ayodhya district a model has started.

These 1,147 villages are spread in 772 gram panchayats.
- This campaign has started from the Mahan Mau village of Tarun block of Ayodhya district.
- In this model village campaign, the main focus will be given to the main road connectivity, open defecation freedom and waste management.

3. Raisina Dialog 2025: Raisina Dialogue 2025 is being organized in New Delhi from 17 to 19 March 2025.

It was inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and New Zealand Prime Minister Christopher Luxon on 17 March 2025.
- Raisina dialogue is a major conference of India on geopolitics and geopolitics, which is committed to addressing the most challenging issues faced by the international community.
- The theme of Raisina Dialogue 2025 edition is ‘Kalachakra – people, peace and planets’.
- Representatives from about 125 countries are participating in this 10th Raisina dialogue, including ministers, former heads of state and head of the government, military commander, technology captain, technology leader, educationist, journalist, scholar of strategic affairs, experts of major think tanks and youth.
- Raisina Dialogue started in 2016.
4. 5G Innovation Hackathon 2025 announced: On March 17, the Central Department of Telecommunications (DOT) announced the 5G Innovation Hacathan 2025.

This 5G innovation Hacathan will run for the next 6 months.
- The purpose of this hackathon is to accelerate the development of innovative 5G-operated solutions to solve social and industrial challenges.
- Conducted for students, startups and professionals, this program provides access to mentarships, funding and more than 100 5G case labs.
- It invites the maintenance of Hacathan AI-operated network, IOT-competent solutions, 5G broadcasting, smart health, agriculture, industrial automation, non-national networks, D2M, V2X and quantum communication centered proposals focused on major 5G applications.
5. Inauguration of Pradhan Mantri Internship Scheme app: On March 17, Finance and Corporate Affairs Minister Nirmala Sitharaman launched a mobile app dedicated to the Pradhan Mantri Internship Scheme.

The start of the PMIS app will significantly increase access to internship opportunities for youth.
- The Pradhan Mantri Internship Scheme (PMIS) announced in Budget 2024-25 is to provide internship opportunities to one crore youth in the top 500 companies in 5 years.
- The PM Internship Scheme has the ability to brid down the gap between learning in the classroom and the expectations of the industry.
- This will increase the employment capacity of the youth.

6. Quad workshop was organized in New Delhi: A quad workshop has been organized on preparations for the Indo-Pacific sector in New Delhi from 17 to 19 March 2025.

On March 17, 2025, Union Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare Anupriya Singh Patel inaugurated the Quad workshop.
- The purpose of this workshop is to strengthen the global health emergency structure, ensure coordinated response to emerging epidereds and implement the forest health approach keeping in mind the human-environmental health from a multi-regional point of view.
- The workshop is taking part in this workshop 36 delegates from 15 countries and international health organizations in the Indo-Pacific region, along with the quad nations-India, America, Japan and Australia.
7. 9th edition of India-Australia Defense Policy Dialogue held in New Delhi: On March 17, the 9th edition of the Indo-Australia Defense Policy Dialogue was held in New Delhi.

In this talk, Joint Secretary of the Ministry of Defense, Amitabh Prasad (left) led India.
- In this discussion, focus on maritime regional awareness, mutual information sharing, defense industry and science and technology cooperation.
- The 8th edition of the defense policy negotiations was held in 2023.
