1. National Conference organized on National Clean Air Program (NCAP) in Gorakhpur: The National Conference was organized at Gorakhpur from 11 to 13 March 2025 at the National Clean Vayu System (NCAP).
The conference emphasized the coordination of technology and public awareness for bringing carbon emissions to a minimum level and for environmental protection.
- In this conference itself, it was also discussed to prepare the right strategy to free Gorakhpur from burning garbage in the open by 2027.
- The conference was organized with the joint effort of Gorakhpur Municipal Corporation and WRI India.
2. All Municipal Corporation of Uttar Pradesh will become solar city: On March 13, the Uttar Pradesh government has decided to develop all 17 municipal corporations of the state as solar city.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath announced this at the National Conference held on 13 March on the National Clean Air Program held in Gorakhpur.
- All municipal corporations will be developed as solar city on the lines of Ayodhya.
- The government has taken this step to promote environmental protection and green energy.
3. Employment zone to be built in all districts of Uttar Pradesh: On March 12, the Uttar Pradesh government announced the establishment of an employment zone in all the districts of the state.

- Through this zone, youth will be provided with placement and career counseling facility.
- The objective of the government is to provide employment to the youth in the home district itself.

4. Yoga Festival 2025 was organized in New Delhi: The Yoga Festival 2025 was organized in New Delhi, 13 March.
Union Minister of State for AYUSH (Independent Charge) and Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare Pratap Rao Jadhav inaugurated the Yoga Festival 2025.
- The event was organized as a preceding program of International Yoga Day (IDY) 2025.
- The event was organized by the Union Ministry of AYUSH.
5. AI operated on Mineral Search Hackathon 2025: On March 13, India’s first mineral discovery started in AI-run Hackathon Goa.
Union Minister of Coal and Mines G. Kishan Reddy and Chief Minister of Goa Dr. Pramod Sawant started the AI-run exploration Hacathon.
- The purpose of this hackathon is to find minerals using artificial intelligence-AI.
- This is a significant improvement in the direction of discovery of important and deep mines unused and deep mines in India.
6. India-Tili’s first joint functioning meeting was held on agriculture: On March 12, 2025, the first Joint Working Group (JWG) meeting between India and Chile was held in virtual mode.
JWG meeting was co-headed by Ajit Kumar Sahu (Madhya), Joint Secretary, Department of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare.
- In this meeting, Indo-Chaili discussed other major issues including market access, cooperation in horticulture, capacity building in areas of expansion and research related to research.
