Current Affairs of March 13, 2025 for the RO/ARO, Patwari and TET’s single day exams to be held in Uttar Pradesh.
1. The country’s first permanent artgram will be built in Prayagraj: On March 11, the Uttar Pradesh government decided to establish the country’s first permanent artgram in Prayagraj.

- This art village will be ready in the next one year.
- The Ministry of Culture, Government of India has recently decided to establish art village in every cultural center of the country.
2. World Glaucoma Week organized in Balrampur district: World Glaucoma Week is being organized in Balrampur district from 9 to 15 March 2025.

Glaucoma is also called black cataract.
- Glaucoma patients will be identified more and more during this glucoma week.
- Glaucoma or black cataract is a disease of the eye, due to which the person becomes a victim of blindness.
3. NHLML and IWAI agreement for state-of-the-art multi-model logistics park in Varanasi: On March 11, a MoU was signed between National Highway Logistics Management Limited (NHLML) and Inland Waterways Authority of India (IWAI).

MoU was signed in the presence of Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari.
- The MoU aims to develop a state-of-the-art multi-model logistics park (MMLP) in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh.
- The proposed MMLP in Varanasi will be expanded in an area of about 150 acres.
- This agreement will create new investment and employment opportunities, which will strengthen the country’s logistics sector to improve trade efficiency and economic growth.

4. Cancer Day Care Center will be set up in all districts of the country: On March 11, the Government of India announced the establishment of Cancer Day Care Center in all districts of the country.

Union Health and Family Welfare Minister Jagat Prakash Nadda announced this in Parliament on 11 March.
- These centers will be set up in all districts of the country within the next 3 years.
- Cancer Day Care Centers will be set up in 200 districts in this financial year.
- The goal of these centers is to provide quick diagnosis of deadly disease like cancer to people.
5. Agreement between IWAI and Delhi Government to promote river-cruise tourism: On March 11, an agreement was reached in the Indian Inland Waterways Authority i.e. IWAI and Delhi government to promote cruise tourism in the Yamuna River.

An agreement was reached between the IWAI and the Delhi government in the capital New Delhi.
- The agreement aims to develop and promote cruise tourism on four kilometers of waterway of Yamuna River (National Waterway 110) between Sonia Vihar and Jagatpur.
- Under this agreement, solar hybrid boats will be operated to promote cruise tourism.
- The project will encourage green and sustainable tourism along with promoting short distance shipping and recreational activities at National Waterways 110 (NW-110) over Wazirabad Barrage.
6. The Government of India declared ‘JKIM’ and ‘AAC’ as illegal organizations: On 11 March, the Government of India declared ‘Jammu and Kashmir Hithadul Muslimeen’ and ‘Awami Action Committee (AAC) as an illegal organization.

- Both these organizations have been declared a lawful organization for a period of 5 years under Section 3 (1) of the Activity (Prevention) Act (UAPA) 1967.
- These organizations are involved in anti-national and destructive activities such as supporting terrorism and promoting hatred against the established government.

7. Prime Minister Narendra Modi received the highest civilian honor of Mauritius: On March 12, Prime Minister Narendra Modi was awarded Mauritius’s highest civilian honor ‘Grand Commander of the Star and Ki of the Indian Ocean (GCSK)’.

Prime Minister Modi was awarded the GCSK honor by Mauritius President Dharambir Gokhul.
- This is the first time that an Indian politician has received this honor.
- On March 12, Prime Minister Narendra Modi attended the 57th National Day celebrations of Mauritius as the chief guest.
8. Naval practice Bongosagar-2025 organized: From 10 to 12 March 2025, the bilateral war exercise ‘Bongosagar’-2025 was organized between the Indian and Bangladesh Navy.

The Bongosagar naval exercise was held in the settled maritime areas near the Indo-Bangladesh maritime border in the Bay of Bengal.
- This was the fourth version of bilateral exercises between the two countries navies.
- The purpose of this naval practice is to increase marine security, strengthen cooperation and deal with various criminal activities in the sea.
