Mayawati removed nephew Akash Anand from the post of National Coordinator 3 days ago. After this, his father Anand Kumar was entrusted with the responsibility. However, Anand Kumar refused to work as a National Coordinator. After this, Mayawati withdrew the responsibility from him.
On Wednesday morning, Mayawati posted 2 on X. Written in it- Anand Kumar expressed his desire to work in a position. Therefore, he will continue to hold the post of National Vice President of the party. While the responsibility of the post of National Coordinator is being withdrawn from him.
Apart from this, Mayawati has announced several major reshuffles in the party. Randhir Beniwal, a resident of Saharanpur, has been entrusted with the responsibility of National Coordinator.
Mayawati said- Now Rajya Sabha MPs Ramji Gautam and Randhir Beniwal will work under my direction as the National Coordinator of the party. Earlier, Akash’s father -in -law and then expelled from the party.
Akash snatched succession before Anand, then pulled out of party
On December 10, 2023, Mayawati made Akash a successor during a meeting of leaders of UP-Uttarakhand.
2 days ago, Mayawati expelled her nephew Akash Anand from the party. It was said- Akash had to show his maturity by repenting, but the response that Akash gave is not a political maturity. He has become selfish, egoistic under the influence of his father -in -law.
A day before this, on March 2, the BSP supremo removed Akash from all the posts of the party. It was said- they are not his successor. I will not have any successor in the party till my life and last breath. For me, party and movement are first, family and relationships come later. As long as I survive, I will continue to carry forward the party with full honesty.
Akash was declared a successor 2 times in 15 months, but was removed both times. He was first successor on December 10, 2023. On May 7, 2024, all responsibilities were taken away due to misunderstanding.
On June 23, 2024, Akash was re -succeeded and also entrusted the responsibility of National Coordinator. But on March 2, 2025, he again took away all the responsibilities from him. On March 3, he was dropped from the party itself.
Akash Anand and Dr. Siddharth’s daughter Pragya were married on March 26, 2023. Mayawati was also present in it.
Akash entered politics in 2017
Akash Anand first appeared with Mayawati at a public meeting in Saharanpur in 2017. After this he was constantly working for the party. In 2019, he was made National Coordinator. This decision was taken when the SP and BSP alliance broke after the Lok Sabha elections.
For the first time in the 2022 Himachal assembly elections, Akash Anand’s name came on the list of star campaigners. Akash has studied Master of Business Administration (MBA) from London. Akash is married to Dr. Pragya, daughter of former BSP Rajya Sabha member Ashok Siddharth.
Ashok Siddharth- 20 days ago expelled from party, accused of factionalism

Mayawati also excluded Ashok Siddharth, father -in -law of nephew Akash and Nitin Singh, on 12 February, 20 days ago. It was taken on factionalism and indiscipline in the action organization.
The BSP chief had said- Dr. Ashok Siddharth and Nitin Singh, who were in charge of the southern states, were facing factionalism in the party even after warning. They are expelled from the party with immediate effect due to their involvement in anti -party activities.
Ashok Siddharth has been a doctor by profession. After leaving the job, he joined the BSP in 2008. Mayawati made her MLC in 2009. After this, he was also a member of Rajya Sabha from 2016 to 2022. For a time, he was considered the most special of Mayawati.
Who is Anand Kumar, what is the importance inside the BSP
Anand Kumar is the youngest brother of Mayawati and the father of Akash Anand. She is considered very reliable of Mayawati. Anand Kumar has been mostly playing his role in the party from behind the screen. She is usually not seen in rallies with Mayawati.
Anand Kumar once used to be a clerk in Noida Authority. After Mayawati became the Chief Minister of UP, her property grew rapidly. Anand was also accused of taking crores of rupees loan by creating a fake company. After Mayawati’s government came in 2007, Anand opened 49 companies one after the other.

Randhir Singh, a resident of Saharanpur, belongs to the Jat community. His political journey has been associated with the BSP for a long time. Beniwal has been working at the ground level for the BSP in UP. Their grip is considered more in Jat dominated areas.
BSP central in -charge Randhir Beniwal was facing serious allegations of misusing the party’s funds and earning property. According to the allegations, there was an unexpected increase in the property of Beniwal since the BSP became in -charge in 2019. He was accused of buying two palace houses in Saharanpur, two -storey showrooms, four expensive vehicles and several plots at ITC Road. The total price of which was stated to be around 10 crore rupees.
