Donald Trump’s National Security Adviser has sent a note of caution to Ukraine. Mike Waltz has now told Volodymyr Zelensky to tone down his criticism, read through and sign the minerals deal. In an interview on Fox News, Waltz said, “There’s obviously a lot of frustration here.” He was pointing to Zelensky’s apparent resistance to signing a proposed agreement to supply the U.S. with rare earth minerals in exchange for military support.
