The giant icebergs are being cut between Rambada to Lincholi on the Gaurikund-Kedarnath walking route. By cutting these glaciers, laborers are preparing the way between 8 to 10 feet of snow. From where the passengers going to Kedarnath will pass.

In fact, in the first week of February and March this year, there was heavy snowfall till walking route including Kedarnath. Since then, more than three to four feet of snow has been frozen in Kedarnath Dham.
At the same time, foot movement is not possible due to snow from Rambara to Kedarnath on Gaurikund-Kedarnath walking route. From March 14, more than 70 laborers of Public Works Department have been busy in making way by cutting snow.

In 13 days, the way for movement has been prepared for movement by cleaning ice in about three km. These days the workers are busy in cutting the Tharu iceberg.
Here, about 20 feet high iceberg is being cut and two and a half feet wide. Due to snow cutting, a deep and narrow valley has been formed here.
There is a danger of slipping snow here in these conditions. Executive Engineer of Lonivi Vinay Jhikwana said that even after the weather is not favorable, the work of snow cleaning is going on in full swing.
