America -ran Relations: Iran’s President Masood Pageshkian has refused to talk directly with the US in response to President Donald Trump’s letter regarding the nuclear program. So at the same time, US President Donald Trump warned Iran that if Tehran did not agree to compromise with Washington on his nuclear program, it would be bombed and tariffs would be imposed.
Pageshkian said, “Although the possibility of direct talks between the two sides has been rejected in this response, it has been emphasized that the path of indirect dialogue is open.” Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Arakchi recently said that Tehran has responded to Trump’s message sent via Oman, urging Iran to agree on a new nuclear deal.

At the same time, in a telephone interview with NBC News, Trump confirmed that American and Iranian officials were talking, but he did not give any other details. Trump said, “If they do not make any deal, there will be bombing but there is a possibility that if they do not make any deal, I will put a double tariff on them, as I did four years ago.”
Western countries claim that Iran is secretly working on making nuclear weapons by enriching uranium more than the required level. Tehran denies these allegations and says that his program is completely for peaceful purposes.

During his previous term from 2017 to 2021, Trump withdrew America with the 2015 nuclear deal between Iran and world powers. The agreement strictly tightened Tehran’s nuclear activities in exchange for relief in sanctions. Trump later re -implemented widespread US sanctions, due to which Iran increased its uranium enrichment more than the agreed levels.
