Sanjay Dutt, Mouni Roy, Sunny Singh starrer film ‘The Bhootni’ is releasing on May 1 in theater. This is a horror comedy, written and directed by Sachdev. The film will also feature ‘Panchayat’ fame Asif Khan, Palak Tiwari. Also, a new actor Nick is making his Bollywood debut with this film. Apart from acting in the film Sanjay Dutt, it is also a producer.

Question- Mouni, how was the journey of the film ‘The Bhootni’. Tell us about it.
In this film, our director Siddhant Sachdev has created a wonderful and amazing world. The setup is from the college, which has the story of some people. There are some college students who want them to fall in love. Especially the character of Shantanu, he is looking for love. What happens in that story later. He gets love and what love is found. This is the story. For what I and Palak are doing, you will have to go to the film.
Question- Sunny, Sanjay Dutt is also producing it in addition to acting in this film. What was the reaction when you came to know?
Earlier, we had a meeting around 2018. She was also a comedy film. We wanted the film to start but the lockdown started. Since then, I and Sanjay Sir have an untold bond. The director of this film is Siddhant Sachdev, I have my friendship with him. My connection in this film is with many people.
I have been excited about Sanju sir since I was listening to its neely. I think something will be different when we come together on screen. He wanted to work with him since childhood, it has happened in such a good way. The way the story has been written, everyone’s character, Sanju Sir Baba, is very beautiful. If Sanju sir is sitting silent on the set, then it seems that we are learning something from them.

Question- Any memorable moment with Sanjay Dutt?
During the shooting, I and I decided that we will put the poster of the film on Instagram. Both of us had fixed the time for this at six o’clock in the evening. As soon as six o’clock, Sanju sir came to me and said in Punjabi that Sunny did not put a photo? I was very happy with this gesture of Sir.
I have so many stories that will never end. Personally, he has also helped me a lot. It has been two-and-a-half years since my mother has passed. At that time Sanju sir introduced me to his doctor. He treated the mother. After the mother’s passing, every few days later he used to check whether I am fine or not. I do not need anything. I will never forget this thing.
Question- Palak, do you believe in ghosts?
No, I do not believe in ghosts. Yes, my grandmother has always taught me to believe in God. My family is very much worshiping. My grandmother wakes up every morning and worships. Because of them, we all have more spirituality.
The ghosts are not known, there will be ghosts and good. I don’t think there are evil spirits. There is an energy, which is left behind as memory. As shown in our film. Ghosts are sometimes a feeling.

Question- Asif, tell you about your character.
You have seen my look in the film in the trailer. My character’s name is Nasir. Nasir studies in college with his three-four friends. There is an entry of two-four and new characters in his life, for which he is not ready.
My character comes from a very small town in Nasir UP. He is fond of speaking Urdu and writing poetry. It is so straight that if the era is running at a speed of 40, then it runs at a speed of 20. Those who are his friends in college are also straight.
Question- Nick, you are making your debut with this film. How to join this film?
Yes, I met Siddhant Sir. He told me before nareing the story that this is you. When I heard Sahil’s character’s neely, I also felt that I was the only one. My experience in the film is different from Asif. Asif is playing a character in the film. I am really this. I did not have to prepare much. I am from Mumbai, Sahil also plays from Mumbai. There was no problem of language either. Sahil’s character is loud, I am also a loud in real life.
I consider myself lucky that I got such a role in the first film, for which there was not much preparation. Also, in the very first film, I got a chance to work with so many good actor, from whom I have learned a lot.
Question- Mouni, you are trying to find something in the film. What do you want to achieve in real life?
You have asked a great question. In real life, I want balance in personal and professional life. I want to get mental pieces completely. I have been reading the Bhagavad Gita for the last three and a half years. It has been told that service is the greatest religion. I want to help people. As much as I do now, it is not enough. I want to do something for animals. There are many such desires in life. My ambitions are not very high.
Question- What was the first scene with Sanjay Dutt?
There was not much talk with him in the first scene. I just called him hi-Hello Namaste. The first scene was such that I shoot and they stand from far away. You will understand when you watch the film. My main scene was on harness with Sanjay sir. I flew in the air and met them. The poster you see in the poster that I fly in the air and set foot on their scene.
This scene is one of the first selected scenes shot with Sanjay sir. While doing this, I felt afraid and strange how I could set foot on them.
I was repeatedly speaking them sorry. But they are quite unemployed. The bigger his position is, the more generous they are. They meet you very much. I wanted me to have some more scenes with him but a dream has been fulfilled by working with him.
Question- There is a horror film that was scared by all of you?
Sunny- Yes, my friend and my friend used to watch the horror film for the fun in childhood. The horror film we all tilted with our heads. When the ghost came on the screen, we would put our head down and start watching the film as soon as they go. I saw ‘Evil Dead’, I found it scary. I was also afraid of ‘Anonymous Hai Koi’. But I believe that horror comedy has its own charm. Such films are also afraid and when comedy comes, then we get a little relaxed.
Asif- The fear of a ghost is only until you show it. As soon as the ghost is shown on the screen, my fear ends. After working in films, the fun of the horror film for me has deteriorated. Now when I see ghosts on screen, I walk in my mind that there will be a DOP in front of it to shoot it. Then my fun gets spoiled.
Mouni- I was very afraid of ‘conjuring’. Talking about Hindi film, ‘Kaun’ was very scary. Urmila Mam had killed her with her performance. I also agree with Asif’s talk that until the ghost is seen, fear remains.
Question-Chalak, what do you have to achieve in life?
All I have to do is to do so that I can give progress and happiness to my family. I want to give my mother to my mother, my maternal grandparents and my brother stable. They never need anything. Like my mother has kept me so far. I want to give my brother the same upbringing and luxury as I have done.

Question- Asif, which film of Sanjay Dutt saw the first film?
I saw Sir’s first film ‘Daag the Fire’ on VCR. Hall I have seen how many of his films have been seen, I do not even remember. I come to a very small town in Chittor district of Rajasthan. There is a photo of Salman sir on one side in the auto and Sanju sir on one side. There is also a photo of both in the gym. Be it the company of any vest, the photo on it is from Sanju sir or Salman sir.
You will get a lot of love for these two in small cities. Ever since the friends and friends have come to know that I am working with them, they are all crazy from now. They are waiting when the film will come.

Sunny- I would like to say one thing… The heroes like Salman and Sanjay Dutt in 90 had a natural style. He did not have to create anything. He is so natural that we know how to dance on their songs. Both of them have such a craze in small cities that people live like them. What can be a bigger thing than this.
