Indian Air Force (IAF) female flying officer Tanushka Singh became the first woman pilot to permanently attended the Jaguar fighter jet squadron. Tanushka’s family is from a military background, both her father and grandfather have served in the Indian Army.

When Tanushka Singh came to know about the opportunities for women in the Air Force, she decided to join IAF.

However, some women pilots have blowed up Jaguar fighter jet during training, but flying officer Tanushka is the first woman to be permanently included in this squadron. The fighter aircraft is known for its tactical strike capacity and the strength of an accurate attack in the Indian Air Force fleet.
