DMK worker erasing the name of Polachi railway station.
The Tri Language War continues between the Central Government and the Tamil Nadu government. On Sunday, DMK workers erased the Hindi name of the station on the board of Polachi railway station in Coimbatore.
Earlier, CM MK Stalin criticized the central government on Saturday. He said in the program of Tamil Nadu Parents-Teachers Association that I will not sign 2 thousand or 10 thousand crores to sign the new education policy.
He had said that if the state gives up its rights for 2 thousand crore rupees, then the Tamil society will go back 2 thousand years. Muthuvel Karunanidhi Stalin will never do such a sin.
Stalin said- The Dravidian movement has been fighting for 85 years to protect Tamil. In the last 75 years, 52 languages in India have ended and 25 languages in the Hindi belt alone became extinct. The states that have lost their native languages due to the domination of Hindi, now they are realizing the truth.

Stalin said- Our two eyes for education and health
Stalin said that our government considers education and health as its two eyes. This year, we have distributed Rs 44 thousand crore to the School Education Department and 8 thousand 200 crores to Higher Education Department. From this you can understand how much importance we give to the education sector.
Tamil Nadu is second in India in providing quality education. The reason for this achievement is various schemes implemented by the Department of School Education. It has also been recognized in the Economical Survey released by the Central Finance Department.
He said that the central government has accepted the achievements of Tamil Nadu in its report. The Economic Survey report of the Central Government has openly praised the quality of Tamil Nadu’s education. But on the one hand they praise us, on the other hand they refuse to fund Tamil Nadu.
The central government has banned Rs 2,152 crore, which should have been given to Tamil Nadu. This amount is for the good of 43 lakh school children. They are refusing to give the funds to Tamil Nadu, as we have not accepted NEP.
NEP pushes on hereditary business
Stalin said that caste -based vocational education has been started from 6th class in NEP. Instead of giving students a chance to study and move forward, they are being pushed into hereditary business according to the wrong principles of Manusmriti.
He said that we are not enemies of any language including Hindi. If someone wants to learn Hindi, then he is free to do so in Hindi Publicity Assembly, Kendriya Vidyalaya (KV) or other institutions. Tamil Nadu has never stopped anyone from learning Hindi, nor will we do this ever.
He said that do not try to impose Hindi on us. If you do this, Tamil people will oppose it and Tamil Nadu will prove its strength.
TRAI Language War started from here
Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan accused the state government of Tamil Nadu of practicing political interests at a program in Varanasi on 15 February.

On 16 February, CM Stalin said that Tamil people would not bear blackmailing or threatening. If the state is denied the fund of overall education, the Center would face strong opposition from ‘Tamils Unique Nature’ i.e. Tamils.
18 On February, Deputy CM Udayanidhi had said that the states who accept Hindi lose their mother tongue. Do not start center language war. After this statement, the debate over the Center’s Tri Language Policy and Hindi imposing Hindi intensified between the ruling DMK and the BJP in the state.
He had said that Dharmendra Pradhan has openly threatened us that the fund will be released only when we accept three-language formula. But we are not begging you.

Know what is the TRAI Language Formula?
Under NEP 2020, students must learn 3 languages, but no language has been made mandatory. States and schools have the freedom to decide which 3 languages they want to teach.
It has been recommended to study in primary classes (class 1 to 5) in mother tongue or local language. At the same time, it is mandatory to study 3 languages in middle classes (class 6 to 10). It will be English or a modern Indian language in a non-Hindi speaking state. If the second and 12th school wants to give foreign language as an alternative.
Hindi second language among non-Hindi speaking states
The emphasis is on studying classes up to 5th and where possible in the mother tongue, local or regional language. At the same time, Hindi can be taught as a second language in non-Hindi speaking states. Also, in Hindi speaking states, there may be another Indian language (eg Tamil, Bengali, Telugu etc.) as a second language.
It is not mandatory to adopt a language
States and schools have the freedom to decide which three languages they will teach. There is no provision to impose any language compulsorily.
