London England Vacations
London, England.
London is a very enormous city which is divided into 32 boroughs. This city is very noisy, multicultural and very vibrant!
London is the largest City in England, United Kingdom and the whole of Western Europe. It has a population of about 8 million people.
Families who come to London can enjoy several tourist sites including;
🏛 The British Museum 🏛 – This great museum exhibits the works of man from the prehistoric times to modern times. Major artifacts found in this museum include;
✔ The Ancient Egyptian mummies;
✔ The Parthenon sculpture;
✔ The Rosetta Stones.
Entry to this museum is absolutely free, but special exhibitions do require a ticket.
The Natural History Museum This is the 🦕 Permanent Dinosaur Exhibition 🦕 in London.
It also has a collection of the tallest, rarest and biggest animals that ever existed. Among the collection is a 40 million year old spider, life sized blue whale and the gorgeous central hall.
Entry to this museum is also free, and special exhibitions do require a ticket.
🎡 London Eye Attraction
London Eye – This is one of the most spectacular skylines in London.
With 32 capsules and a capacity of 25 people, the London Eye is the world’s highest observation wheel.
Each of the 32 capsules weighs about 10 tones.
We booked tickets for a ride on the London Eye while on our European Family Vacation, a few years ago.
The view was spectacular and I highly recommend booking in advance online and taking the Ride at Sunset!

Paris – France
Paris is considered by many couples as the most beautiful and most romantic city in the world, hence the nick name;
City of Lights and City of Love.
Paris is the capital city of France with a population of about 15 million people.
Families visiting Paris have a wide range of places to visit from the; Cathedrals, fashion malls, modern restaurants, to beautiful parks and museums.
Paris France Eiffel Tower
A must see of places to visit in Paris include;
Musee d’Orsay Museum – This museum is a spectacular place to visit for art lovers and houses some of the world’s premier collection of paintings.
Most of the paintings exhibited in this museum range from the mid-1800s and the early 1900s.
Jardin du Luxembourg – Also known as the 💐 Luxembourg gardens, this park is the second largest in Paris.
Families travel from all over the world to come 🏕 camping in this park. The gardens contain very beautiful lawns, fruit orchards and formal gardens.
There are jogging tracks, fitness equipment and tennis courts in the park as well. This is a great place to spend some holiday time with family who love both sports and camping.
Eiffel Tower – This is the symbolic icon of Paris and is considered among the most 📸 photographed man-made structures in the world.
This marvelous structure was engineered by Gustave Eiffel, whose company designed the tower and built it in 1889.
Barcelona – Spain
Barcelona is one of the busiest and most visited places in Europe. It is also home to; F.C. Barcelona, one of the greatest clubs in Europe.
Barcelona is famous for many reasons, among many because of its favorable weather conditions, easy access around the city, a buzzing nightlife and its rich culture.
Some great sites include;
La Sagrada Familia Church
Though under construction, this church receives more than 3 million visitors annually. Visitors are allowed to view the church from outside freely for 30 minutes but one requires a ticket to see the church from the inside.
Visitors who have tickets can take between one and two hours to explore the church.
Magic Fountain Show
Many families who visit this fountain claim that it has some magical experience.
This fountain was built in 1929 and is also one of the most visited places in Europe attracting 2.5 million visitors annually. Water and light shows are held on every Thursday to Sunday of every summer.
Camp Nou
This massive stadium is home to the giants Catalans F.C Barcelona. Visitors come to this stadium to watch the team play their home matches and it is a spectacular place to be during the matches.
Having a capacity of 99,000 spectators, this is Europe’s largest stadium.
This stadium also has a museum that tells the history of the club.
Berlin – Germany
Berlin Germany Skyline
Berlin is the Capital of Germany and the largest city in the country, with a population of more than 7.5 million people.
Must see sites include;
Museum Island – This is home to many major exhibition museums. Some of these museums found here are the;
✔ Old Museum;
✔ Old National Gallery;
✔ Pargamon Museum;
✔ Bode Museum;
✔ Jewish Museum.
The Jewish museum is one of the largest Jewish museums in Europe. The museum offers school pupils with conducted tours, workshops and project days. Only 20 people can be included in one group.
A small fee is charged to anyone wishing to visit the museum.
Berlin Wall
The construction of this wall began in August 13 1961.
It was constructed by the communist government for the purpose of separating West Germany from the East Germany.
The wall stood erect until November 9, 1982 when the then head of the communist party announced that the Germany citizens were free to travel across the Berlin wall.
Europe Is Very Rich In Traditions
One of these most traditions found throughout Europe is ⚽ football.
Major professional clubs, like Barcelona, Real Madrid, Manchester United, Arsenal and many more are found in Europe. These football clubs attract thousands of visitors from around the world who have a passion for football, or as we call it in North America ⚽ Soccer!
This is just a small sample of choices, when considering a vacation to Europe. Now that international travel has opened up once again, airline travel to Europe is now in full swing.
