The mastermind of the Mumbai terror attacks, Tawwur Rana, on 22 April (Tuesday), filed a petition in the NIA’s Special Court to talk to the family. The petition was heard on Wednesday. During this, the investigating agency NIA opposed the petition.
The NIA said in court that if Rana was allowed to talk to the family, he can share any important information. This may affect the investigation. The court has now reserved the decision in this case for April 24.
