Fierce Clash in Latakia Syria: Syrian security forces hanged 52 members of the Alavi minority community in Latakia province. According to the AFP report, the Syrian War Monitor gave this information on Friday (March 7).
In fact, a violent clash began on Thursday (6 March) in Syria’s Latakia province on Thursday (6 March) between the Syrian power groups Hayat Tahir Al-Sham fighters and supporters of the erstwhile Bashar al-Asad regime.
Based on the evidence found from the family of the victims and several verified videos, the UK-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said, “Security forces hanged 52 Alavi people in the rural areas of Latakia, Syria and 52 Alavi people in the Al-Muktaria region.” The fierce violence took place on Thursday (March 6) in Latakia province of Syria, a stronghold of Alavi faith, a branch of Shia Muslims and the dynasty of Syria’s anterior Bashar al-Assad belonged to this Alavi community.
Observatory continues videos of the incident
Syrian Observatory for Human Rights and many workers released videos, in which blood spots in a house courtyard had bodies of dozens of people and women were crying in it. At the same time, in another video, some people seen in military dress are seen ordering three people crawling behind each other and they then shoot them very closely. However, AFP has not confirmed these videos.

At the same time, Observatory further said, “Apart from killing 52 people, 72 people have died in violent clashes. It consisted of 36 security officers, 32 armed supporters of Assad regime and 4 citizens. ” However, according to the count of the deaths of Observatory, a total of 124 people have died since Thursday.
