India criticized Pakistan for raising the issue of Jammu and Kashmir in the United Nations Human Rights Council, saying that a failed country on international aid further carries forward the lies spread by its military-attentive alliance.
On Wednesday (February 26, 2025), India, using its right to reply in the 58th regular session of the United Nations Human Rights Council in Geneva, responded to Pakistan on raising the issue of Jammu and Kashmir.
Kshitij Tyagi, advisor to India’s permanent mission at the United Nations located in Geneva, said, “India is using its right to reply in response to the baseless and malicious references made by Pakistan. This is regrettable, but not surprising that the so-called leaders and representatives of Pakistan are propagating the lies spread by their military-attentive alliances.
Kshitij Tyagi said, ‘It is unfortunate that a failed country is wasting the time of this council, which thrives on instability and rests on international assistance. Its rhetoric brings the smell of hypocrisy; Its antics have inhumanity; And there is disability in its rule.
He said, ‘Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh were always an integral parts of India and will continue to be ahead. The unprecedented, political, social and economic progress in Jammu and Kashmir in the last few years is telling everything itself. He said that Pakistan should focus on removing the difficulties of the citizens of our country more than thinking about India.
Kshitij Tyagi also targeted Pakistan over the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC). Kshitij Tyagi further said that Pakistan is also making fun of Islamic cooperation organization. He said, ‘He (Pakistan) is misusing it by calling it (OIC) his mouthpiece. We do not want to promote such propaganda, but are forced to say some simple things for the record.
