Sunita Willaims Is Free: Hugs, Tears At ISS As SpaceX Replacement Crew Meets Stranded Astronauts

After spending 285 days stranded on the International Space Station due to Boeing Starliner technical failures, NASA astronauts Butch Wilmore and Suni Williams are finally set to return home. A SpaceX capsule carrying four new astronauts from the U.S., Japan, and Russia docked at the ISS, replacing them. Originally expected to stay for just one week, Wilmore and Williams’ return was delayed multiple times. They are now scheduled to splash down off the Florida coast by March 19, weather permitting.
