Kolkata Knight Riders bowler Sunil Naren does not bowl in the net. This was revealed by former KKR player Manvinder Bisla. He also told why he used to do this.
According to NDTV Sports, Bisla said that first, Naren had no interest in bowling in the nets. Second, he did not want the batsman to read his bowling. Because the same batsmen can play for another team after a few years.
According to Bisla, the secret of Naren’s success was that he did not bowl in the net. Bisla used to play as a wicketkeeper in KKR. He had to request Naren to throw him 12-13 balls so that he would read his variations.
