Travel from education to passion
Born on 12 August 1984, Shrestha Thakur did his MBA after graduation. During his studies, when he saw that some boys outside the college harass girls and the police do not pay attention to it, they had a resolve to become a police officer themselves. He worked hard day and night to achieve his goal and in 2012, he passed the UPPCS exam and became DSP.

Family played with
His family, especially his elder brother Manish Pratap contributed significantly in this journey of Shrestha. He not only gave mental support but also encouraged him continuously. Her first posting took place in 2014 and in 2017 she came into the limelight when the video of her strict action from a political activist in Bulandshahr went viral.

From marriage to dispute
In the year 2018, Shrestha married a young man named Rohit, who described himself as an IRS officer. Later this lie came out and it is alleged that Rohit misused his name after marriage. Due to fraud, he divorced and filed a case. Rohit was also arrested. But after being released from jail, he made several allegations against the DSP which includes claims like false cases and pressure for marriage.
