Earlier we used to think that we would make films in a low budget. We never gave a star more than 10-15% of the film’s budget. In today’s time, you see that actors get 70% from the budget of the film. These trend filmmakers started not by corporates, since the business came in their hands, they started this trend because they have to show these figures in their balance sheet and stock exchange.
