Sonakshi sinha on interfaith marriage: Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha married actor Zaheer Iqbal in June last year. Earlier, the couple were in a relationship with each other for seven years. Both Sonakshi and Zaheer belong to different religions. In such a situation, they were trolled a lot about the couple’s interfath marriage and are still done. Sonakshi Sinha further said- ‘We respect each other’s culture and understand them. They follow some traditions in their house. I follow some traditions in my house. I respect him and his culture. They resist me and my entire family. It should happen like this only. The best way to get married was a special marriage act, under which I, as a Hindu, I do not need to change religion and he can remain a Muslim as a Muslim and two loving people share the beautiful bond of marriage.
