Students at Ohio’s Mansfield Senior High School in America are learning something different and unique- how to sleep. Nowadays, where teenagers can sleep during group chats and can also scroll tick-talk or Instagram reels for a long time without sleep. In such a situation, sleep classes have been prepared keeping in mind their focus, happiness and health.
Tony Davis, who taught this mandatory health course, is following the Karikulam named ‘Sleep to Be Better You’. He says, ‘It seems a bit strange to hear that we are teaching how to sleep to high school children, but you will be surprised to know how many children really do not know how gold is.’
6 hours of sleep not enough for tins- research

Research revealed that nowadays most of the teenagers are getting sleep for only 6 hours while they need 8 to 10 hours of sleep.
Actually, when adolescence arrives, his body shifts the clock shift, due to which he is unable to sleep soon. Apart from this, his schedule also becomes busy at this age. Stress, screen time and academic pressure affect not only their mood but also the way of resting.
In such a situation, sleep is not a small thing. This can lead to accident, depression, risky behavior, sports injury and accident while driving. Experts even believe that the students are responsible for more sleep related habits for the poor mental health of the students.

‘Sleep was not coming due to YouTube’
A student named Nathan Baker felt one day through this class that he could not sleep till midnight due to seeing YouTube for a long time at night. In such a situation, he implemented the learning of the course on himself. Long before sleeping, he started closing all the screens around him, started eating light food at night and listening to peaceful music.
After this, he gets 7 hours of proper sleep and he feels better in school the next day. Regarding this, Nathan said, ‘Life looks easy now.’
Teenagers would become irritable due to lack of sleep
Sleep experts say that irritability, haste or lack of motivation is not necessarily symptoms of teenage. This can also happen due to lack of sleep.
Sleep expert Kayla Walstorm says that teenagers express their fatigue as a child shows tantrums. Their way of just showing tantrums is a slightly gran-up.
This thing of Walstorm has also been proved in many studies. Lack of sleep affects pre-flower cortex. This is the part of the brain that is responsible for taking a decision. Along with this, lack of sleep increases the activity in the part of the brain’s emblem. This is the part that processes fear and anxiety.
Sleep will not come from just reduced screen time

Mobile phones now play an important role in everyone’s life. 60% of the students coming to this sleep class admitted that they sleep on seeing the phone and wake up in the morning from the alarm of the phone.
The phone is not a problem alone. Students are engaged in academic load, sports and many activities every day after school.
A student named Chase Cole plays football. He takes a lot of advanced classes and then practices for hours. It then performs self-stands at night. He said, ‘Honors classes, college preparation and sports are difficult and tired to manage all three things together.’
Another student, Amilia Rafael, says that he takes less 24 hours of the day. Because of this, they have to sacrifice sleep. She often sleeps till 2 o’clock in the night.
Free Sleep Classes in many US schools
Teenagers are not studying only in the Main Field Senior High School. Rather, these classes have now become common in many other schools.
In many schools of Minisota, children are being taught children for Sleep for Sleep Expert Kayla Walstorm for Sleep. Sleep education was started in schools as wellness activity in schools in New York. In order to improve the mental health of the students, courses have been started in Meccusetts, Washington and Origan regarding sleep awareness.
