ALGER, Wash. — The Jim Raper Memorial Super Dirt Cup presented by aotwcasino will pay $100,026.26 to win for the 53rd running of the 410 winged sprint car event June 21 at Skagit Speedway.
In addition, the 40-lap event will also offer lap money and $3,000 to start the feature.
The purse increase makes Skagit one of only three tracks in the country to offer multiple six-digit paydays in a single season as the Skagit Nationals finale sanctioned by High Limit Racing also offers $100,000 to win.
The purse increase for the Dirt Cup is substantial as the race has paid $62,000 to win in recent seasons.
A pair of $5,000-to-win preliminary feature events will be run June 19-20 at the three-tenths-mile dirt track.
The Dirt Cup was first run in 1972 and Corey Day was last year’s winner.
