The High Court on March 18 canceled the Pune Court verdict in the sexual harassment case.

In fact, in Pune, HDFC Bank Associate Regional Manager Vinod Kachve was accused of sexual harassment by a female colleague in the year 2022. Said that Kachve commented on her hair and sang.
It was alleged that other women colleagues also commented on the personal part of the male colleague in front of the colleagues. In the report of the bank’s internal committee, the harsh is convicted. He was demoted from the post.
Kachve challenged the committee’s report in Pune’s Industrial Court, but the court rejected the petition of Kachhave in July 2024. They are convicted under the Sexual Harassment, Prohibition and Prevention of Women under the Act, 2013 (POSH Act).
Kachve challenged the order of the Industrial Court in the Bombay High Court. The court quashed the decision of the Industrial Court, giving the verdict in favor of the Kachhave.

High Court said- Industrial Court ignored facts
The High Court said that the company’s Complaint Committee did not consider whether the behavior of the trick is sexual harassment or not. The conclusion that the industrial court also concluded was also not correct.
The High Court said that even if the woman’s allegations are accepted as correct, a sexual harassment with the woman does not become a case. Along with this, the High Court rejected the bank’s internal inquiry report of September 2022 and the order of the Industrial Court.
Kachve had said- woman must be handling her hair with JCB
During the hearing, the counsel for Kachve said that the matter does not come under the Posh Act. Kachve had only said that female colleagues must be handling their hair with JCB. The woman was not present on the spot during the second comment. The woman complained of sexual harassment after resigning from the company.
