Srikanth Bola has joined as a new shark in the fourth season of business reality show ‘Shark Tank India’. Srikanth is a big entrepreneur. He is the CEO of Bolnt Industries Private Limited, Co-Founder and Chairman.
Srikanth Bola recently informed on his Instagram account that he is joining the new season of ‘Shark Tank India’.
He wrote, ‘To survive in a group of sharks, you have to become a shark yourself. So yes, I got an opportunity to become a shark in shark tank India.

Case against Andhra Board for Science Stream in 11th
Srikanth’s dream was to study from the Indian Institute of Technology i.e. IIT. So he decided to take science in 11th. But due to Srikanth being blind, the school refused to take admission. However, he did not give up and filed a case against the Andhra Pradesh State Board in the High Court. The case lasted 6 months and then the Andhra Board of Education allowed Srikanth to take science in 11th on his risk.

Srikanth not only won this case but after that the education system of Andhra Pradesh was changed. Now all blind students could read science.
12th topper with 98% marks
Srikanth finally got admission in class 11 from Science. But the board felt that if there is no books and study material for blinds, then they will fail in 12th. But Srikanth topped 12th class with 98 percent marks.
Srikanth wanted to seek coaching help to clear the IIT entrance exam. But he was repeatedly rejected from the IIT coaching center.
Apply for IIT, NIT and Bits Pilani’s entrance exam. But the hall ticket was not found from anywhere. Then one day a letter comes that you are blind and cannot join any competition exam.
Become MIT’s first international blind student
Despite the rejection of IIT, he did not give up and applied for the top institutions of America. Then he received an offer from 4 institutions of US- Massachusetts Institute of Technology i.e. MIT, Stanford, Burkeli and Carnegie Melon University.

Srikanth is the first international blind student of MIT.
Srikanth took admission in Massachusetts Institute of Technology, USA, on the basis of hard work and dedication. He was the first international blind student of MIT. After studying, he received many job offers there but decided to come to India and start his startup.

Became Youth Leader of ‘Lead India Program’
Srikanth returned to India in 2005 after studying at MIT. After coming here, he became a youth leader under the ‘Lead India Program’. Its purpose was to reduce poverty and unemployment. He started his social service journey as youth trainer. Srikanth has trained more than 8 lakh youth in leadership, human value and employability skills.
Braille started printing press
In 2011, Srikanth Bola co-establish the ‘Coordination Center for Children with Multiple Disabilities’ in Hyderabad. This center provides free education and career guidance for blind and disabled children. This helps disabled students to live financially independent and self -sufficient life.

Srikanth started a Braille printing press in 2011.
Along with this, he started a Braille printing press this year. In this printing press, books and study materials are provided in Braille script.
Started ‘Bolnt Industries’ in association with mentor Swarnalata
In 2012, Srikanth Bola founded ‘Bolunt Industries Private Limited’. The company makes eco-friendly packaging and biodegradable products. Also, especially focuses on providing employment to people with disabilities. His co-founders included Swarnalata Takkilapati (who have been his lifetime mentor) and Angel Investor Ravi Mantha.

Bolnt Industries has become rapidly growing, becoming an environmentally friendly paper product making company.
Bolta Industries Bless Turnover Rs 100 Crore rupees
Today the annual turnover of Bolnt Industries is more than Rs 100 crore. It works in more than 500 employees, of which more than 70% are disabled. Famous businessman Ratan Tata has also invested in Srikanth’s business.
Initially this business was launched with a small capital of about US $ 19,000. But today with Srikanth’s efficient leadership capacity and support of his team, the company has walked over US $ 60 million and its annual turnover is more than US $ 12 million.

Srikanth Bola married Swati in 2022 after dating 10 years.
A film has also been made in 2024, inspired by Srikanth’s life, whose title was kept ‘Srikanth’. Rajkummar Rao played his role in this. Tushar Hiranandani directed the film ‘Srikanth’.

Apart from this, Srikanth has also been awarded the Asia Game Changer Award for the Satyamev Jayate Water Cup Award for the environment-friendly business model, self-reliance and empowering the disabled and the CNN-NEWS18 Super Hero Award for contribution to society.
