Shashi Tharoor, senior Congress leader and MP from Thiruvananthapuram in Kerala, has demanded the party leadership to clarify his role. He asked Rahul Gandhi, “What is my role in Congress.”
Shashi Tharoor met Rahul Gandhi in Delhi on 18 February. During this, he expressed deep displeasure at being shocked to the party. He said that he does not get a chance to speak in important debates of Parliament and he is being ignored in the party.
Tharoor said that he is confused about his position in the party and wants Rahul Gandhi to tell him about his role clearly.
