Nana Patekar is relieved from the Mumbai court in the Me to case case. The ongoing sexual harassment case against him has been closed. The court rejected Tanushree Dutta’s petition in which he challenged the decision to stop the ongoing investigation against Nana Patekar.
While dismissing the petition, the court said that there is no evidence to prove allegations of sexual harassment against the actor. The actor has got a clean chit in this case.
No reason was given for delay
NV Bansal, Judicial Magistrate of Railway Court in Andheri, Mumbai, heard the case. The court said that the complaint from the actress was filed after a limited time period and no reason for the delay has been given. Therefore, no cognizance can be taken in this matter now. The court also said that if the delay is accepted after such a long gap, it will be against the truth of justice and the principle of equality.
Let me tell you that in the year 2008, Tanushree accused Nana Patekar of sexual harassment on the set of the film ‘Horn OK’. But 10 years later in this case, a case was registered during the Me to Movement in 2018.
But Tanushree Dutta has shared many stories related to it on her Instagram, describing the news as wrong.
The actress said Nana’s PR team is spreading fake news
Tanushree Dutta has shared many stories on Instagram in this matter and has spoken. She writes- Nana Patekar’s PR team is trying to spread fake news on the court’s decision in our favor. Me and my legal team have won the case. And whichever media house is publishing a completely false story, he will have to answer to the court and he will become a side in the harassment case.
The court has rejected/canceled the B-summer report filed by the police on the incident of harassment on the set of Horn Ok Please film in 2008.
Nana Patekar tried to close the case on himself by filling B Samari but the court rejected him. Therefore, the case is still open and the police will have to file a charge sheet against Nana in the case.

Police said in the report that nothing was found
In 2019, the police filed their final report in the Magistrate Court after investigating the matter. The report said that nothing objectionable against any accused has been found in his investigation. The file FIR has been found to be false by the actress. Such a report is called B-summer report if there is no concrete evidence.
At the same time, Tanushree filed a petition against that police report and requested the court to reject B-summer. At the same time, on his complaint, he had objected to further the investigation.
