If you are a student of science and engineering and want to get a master’s degree in South Korea, then there is a great opportunity for you. Seoul Metropolitan Government (SMG), South Korea has announced the Seoul Tech Scholarship for 2025. Under this scholarship, students will get an opportunity to do a master’s degree in major universities of Seoul. The last date of application for this is March 14, 2025.
What will be found under scholarship?
- Full tuition funding: Both SMG and the university will cover 50-50 percent of tuition fees.
- Mahinavar expenses: Students will get KRW 1,000,000 (about 65,000 rupees) for living every month.
- Flight tickets: Students will be given a one -time economy class flight ticket, so that they can go to Korea.
- health insurance: Students will be covered for health insurance for health insurance.
- Career Support: After completing the master’s degree, assistance related to work or entrepreneurship will also be provided in Korea.
Know what qualifications you want
- Edge: The candidate was born after 1985.
- Educational Qualification: The candidate should get a bachelor’s degree in science or engineering, and this degree should be from the top 100 universities in India (according to the NIRF rankings).
- CGPA and Percentage: The candidate’s percentage should be 80% or more, or he should be in the top 20% in his class. According to CGPA, it should be equal to 2.64/4.0, 2.80/4.3, 2.91/4.5 or 3.23/5.0.
- Language: This course will be in English, so the candidate should be good in English.

This scholarship will be applicable in major universities of Seoul, in which:
- Kyang only university
- Korea university
- Quangwoon university
- Seochyong university
- Seoul national university of science and technology
- University of seoul
- Sungukwan University
- Sukamyung Womans University (for women candidates)
- Songsil university

The candidate will have to send his documents to the Indian Embassy, Seoul by getting his documents appointed. This process takes at least 2 weeks, so all the students should complete the application process ahead of time.

This is the selection process
The selection process will be done by Seoul Metropolitan Government and Seoul Scholarship Foundation, and the Indian Embassy will not have any role in it.
